Tour: Explore Armenia
We work closely with our partners in Armenia and have successfully completed many projects in this wonderful country. We would now like to share our extensive experience and intercultural skills by offering this special tour: With local English speaking guide, personal visits to all monuments, wine and food tastings and much more.
Dates: April the 11th till 19th, 9 days and 8 nights
Tour Highlights: This tour promises unique experience in one of the hidden gems of Eurasia – sacred Armenia. You will feel the authentic spirit of this ancient country while you visit its well-known and hidden spots, meet the friendly people and explore the Christian heritage. The program of the tour includes diverse experiences – wild beauty of untouched nature, well-praised food and wine tasting experiences, millennia old historical and cultural objects, included in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites.

- Visit to History Museum of Armenia

- Visit to Ceramic Masters Studio
- Tour at Megerian Carpet Factory
- Welcome Dinner at traditional Armenian restaurant

Day 3. April, the 13th. Sunday
Breakfast in the hotel
- Early Morning Visit to Symphony of Stones located at Azat river gorge
- Visit to Gegard Cave Monastery Complex included at UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites
- Master class of Lavash Baking in traditional woodfire tonir
Lunch in Garni
- Visit to Garni Pegan Temple from 1st century AD
Free time, overnight in Yerevan at Silk Road Hotel
Day 4. April, the 14th. Monday
Breakfast in the hotel
- Khor Virap Monastery at the footprints of Biblical Mount Ararat
- Visit to Noravank Medieval Monastery
- Further visit to Areni-1 Cave with the oldest wine-making facility that is over 6000 years old
Lunch and winetasting
- Drive to Shaqi Waterfall

Day 5. April, the 15th. Tuesday
Breakfast in the hotel
- Flight on Tatever ropeway, 2nd longest reversible ropeway in the world
- Visit to Tatev Medieval Monastery
- Visit to Bgheno Noravank Church lost in the forests of Bardzravan Village of Syunik region

- Short hike to Great Hermitage of Tatev from 17th This abandoned monastery is located at the gorge of Vorotan river and considered to be one of the most powerful places in Armenia.
Free time, Overnight at Old Halidzor Complex
Day 6. April, the 16th. Wednesday
Breakfast in the hotel
- Visit to Old Khndzoresk village with hanging bridge over the gorge
- Further drive to Goris town surrounded by rocks like pyramids
- Lunch
- Jeeping to Ukhtasar Sacred Lan ds with over 7000 years old petroglyphs. This area is another hidden gem full of mistery.
- Visit to Qarahunj Archaeological site. Researchers consider this place to be an ancient observatory to gaze the stars and conciliations.
- Dinner with local wine
Overnight at Arevi Hotel in Yeghegis village
Day 7. April, the 17th. Thursday
Breakfast in the hotel
- Short walk to Zorats Temple in Yeghegis. The name of this unique church literally means powerful or church of empowered.
- Drive to Orbelian Qarvansarai. It was located on the Great Silk Road and it was hosting traders from all over the ancient world.
- Drive to Lake Sevan one of the biggest freshwater lakes in the world located at 1900m above sea level.
- Visit to Maqenyats Church
Lunch
- Cheese tasting at Miqayelyan Family Farm. We will have a chance to taste unique cheeses made with innovative recipes by Miqayelyan family.
- Dinner at Tsaghkunq Chef’s house. This place has one of the best restaurants with famous local chef.

Day 8. April, the 18th. Friday
Breakfast in the hotel
- Drive to Goshavank Monastery. Once this place was an important spiritual and educational center in medieval Armenia.
- Visit to Dsegh village
Lunch at WoW glamping restaurant with a great view in Dsegh
- Short easy hike to Gregor Church and Siroun Khach in Dsegh
- Farewell Dinner in Yerevan
End of the tour

Day 9. April, the 19th. Departure

- Check out and transfer to airport
